I play with a lot of heart and intensity whenever I compete in basketball.  That’s just how I play.  I love physical contact, and I love grinding it out in the paint.  Don’t get me wrong, I love perimeter play as well; It’s just that I’m really just a physical player.Of course, all that banging has taken a toll on me.  I come home with a bruised body, or a sore back, or maybe an injured ankle.  It’s a seriously hazardous hobby.  Maybe I should consider getting an insurance quote for myself.  God knows I’ve been hurt and injured often enough.  I could use some help with the medical bills, right? But whatever.  I’m a warrior.  This is how I choose to play, and I’m going to keep at it.  The game brings me too much joy for me to stop.  I’m a baller (OK, ballers CAN avail of insurance, and most pro-ballers do have insurance policies) and I’m going to keep balling, injury or not.  Nothing’s going to keep me off that court.  Speaking of which, I might play later this afternoon.  It’s just a question of whether I want to build up my cardio and on-court experience or build up my body in the weights room.  One or the other.
