Michael Jackson passed away a few days ago, and I don’t really know I feel about it. What I do know is that Michael Jackson was the undisputed King of Pop. He churned out hit after hit, from the unforgettable Thriller to Beat It to my personal favorite, Billie Jean.
Say what you will about the guy (and I plan to,) but he could dance. He was the best dancer I’d ever seen. He had great marketing people around him, sure, but HE was the doing the dancing. It was Michael Jackson out there on the dance floor, laying it all out. And that moonwalk? He moonwalked his way into stardom. Jacko was born with talent, and he really pushed it. He could sing, he could dance, and he did it, from Tokyo to France (hey it rhymes!).
I’m not going to say I’ll miss Michael Jackson, because I won’t. Until he passed away, I’d totally forgotten about him, and a few days from now, he’d be the farthest thing from my mind. But he could dance. And nothing can ever take that away from him. Not pedophilia charges, not even death.
