I’ve always wanted to go into importing medical equipment. I just feel like there’s a fortune to be made supplying people with that stuff. If I had known that a spirometer can make me so much money, I would’ve taken up a related course.
In any case, there is still a lot of time to go into other business ventures. I’m young, and the future is still out there. Let’s see if I can make some magic happen and get filthy stinking rich in the process, spirometer or no spirometer.
Thank goodness for my terrible fear of poverty. Nothing is more motivational.

My Mac Book has really been a treasure to me during the time I’ve had it. I’ve made some money with it, I’ve done business on it (which is basically the same thing), and I’ve played a lot of games on it. It’s been around for around 4 years now, and it’s still going strong. My one complain is Apple doesn’t really equip their Mac Books with adequate hard drives.
The quality is amazing, don’t get me wrong. I just really find 80GB to be too little space. It could be a lot worse, but it could be a heck of a lot better, too. Anyway, I’d really like to get myself a new Mac Book, but I don’t really have the cash to spring for one. Maybe in the future. Let’s see what happens!

I have been planning to really pimp my room up electronics-wise but I just haven’t been able to find the time to do it. Also, I don’t really have the cash to buy all the wonderful electronics I want, so it doesn’t really matter right now that I only have one KVM switch to work with right now.
Basically though, all I really want is a nice flat screen TV to watch NBA games on, a good stereo sound system to listen to my tunes, and.. that’s it. I’m a guy with very simple needs and wants, and that applies to my taste in electronics as well. So maybe my one KVM switch will actually be enough. Who would’ve thought. I actually have everything I need already!

I’ve always been known to be a pretty vain person. I don’t wear it on my sleeve.. you don’t see me taking anti wrinkle treatment or whatnot. I just enjoy looking good. That’s probably the biggest reason why I work out so much. Sure, the basketball benefits are great, but in the end, it’s the aesthetic benefits that really drive me.
It’s come to the point that I’ve started fearing being under the sun for too long, just because I feel like I’m going to get skin cancer and ruin my skin or something. Sometimes I don’t know what I fear more, the skin cancer or ugly skin.
Whatever the case, I love feeling healthy. My skin is clearer, I feel lighter, and I generally have more energy. Can’t beat that feeling.

Sometimes I get so frustrated with my lack of six pack abs that I just want to go and buy the best weight loss pills out there. I know it’s a cheap shortcut and I know it’s a temporary fix, but I’m just getting desperate. Or maybe not. The only thing that stops me from downing those pills is watching all those bodybuilding documentaries.
And I know Arnold took his fair share of steroids and drugs in his day, but still. I’d much rather turn a blind eye to that and preserve the image of the golden era in my head. Whatever they did in Gold’s Gym Venice, that’s their business. As far as I’m concerned, Arnold was clean and drug-free. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

My friend who competes in bodybuilding shows has been pushing me to use the supplements he’s been using. I don’t see the need, though. I think I’m doing pretty well with my current nutrition plan (okay, maybe my plan sucks, but at least it’s cheap and it works for me), so I don’t feel like I need to change it up in any way.Besides, supplements other than whey protein scare me. There’s just too many out there. Check out http://www.humangrowthhormone.org/ and you’ll find a ton of supplements you will probably have never heard about. I guess if you do the research though, you’ll probably find the right supplement for you. For me though, I’m happy eating egg whites and chicken breasts. Whatever works for you, right?

I’ve been really trying to get in really good shape lately, and I must confess I turned to creatine powder for a while. Although I feel like I did get a little stronger, overall, I don’t think it worked out very well for me. For one thing, I felt bloated all the time, and I looked way too smooth when I was aiming to look ripped. After doing a little research and giving it some thought, I’ve decided the creatine powder is not a sustainable choice. It’s not going to work in the long run. If I ever take supplements again, it will probably just be whey protein powder, fish oil capsules, and multivitamin supplements. Sustainable, and effective.

Man, Kobe Bryant dropped 39 against the Miami Heat in a losing effort today. Sometimes, you have to wonder if the guy is taking some sort of anti aging products to keep him fresh on the court. I can’t believe he’s been in the league for what, 10 years now?
Anyway, a loss is a loss. Kind of makes me want to go play basketball, although I’m feeling pretty bushed from working out. I’ll probably just play basketball tomorrow. Of course, knowing me, that means the next time I shoot some hoops will be Monday next week or something. Whatever. Ballers got to ball.

I can’t say I’m a fan of the new Apple iPad. I’m an Apple fanatic, but I just can’t get behind the product. This is one of the few times where I hate the design they came up with. It’s just really impractical. I love most Apple gadgets because they look good AND they’re practical. You get the best of both worlds. The iPad just looks like a really fragile piece of equipment I’d have a hard time using.
It’s trying to beat out all the other netbooks but why bother? Apple is great with the iPhone and the iPod. A new gimmick like this just doesn’t hold a candle to its predecessors.
Although Apple DID announce it’s highest profit and revenue reports ever. So maybe Steve Jobs and the rest of the head honchos know what they’re doing. Still, I’m sticking to my iPhone. The iPad just doesn’t interest me.

You know how some people think fat burners are the most effective supplement for losing fat? I disagree. I think whey protein and fish oil capsules are generally more effective. There’s a whole lot of bodybuilding science behind this, a lot more than I’d care to explain, so just take my word for it.
I’m currently taking whey protein right now, but not as regularly as I should be. I’ve got to get back in shape. Will be lifting tonight and possibly basketball tomorrow, so that’s a start, right?
If the bar ain’t bending, you’re just pretending. Get some heavy weight up!
