Manny Pacquiao just totally destroyed Miguel Cotto in that fight.  I know it lasted until the final round but Cotto’s corner was already trying to give up way before then.  I can’t believe the referees and officials allowed Cotto to continue.  Can anybody say fight rigging?

I’m on Team Pacquiao though.  I thought I was neutral, but yeah, I’m for the Pac Man.  Despite the guy’s political ambitions, he’s living the good life, playa!  Got to give props to that!  Apparently, he’s also cheating on his wife.  Now while I don’t condemn cheating, I don’t support it either.  All I can say, I understand.

That makes me an ass, doesn’t it?

Or at least I think it’s tonight.  Supposedly the best place to check it out would be Asia, as everybody’s expecting around a few hundred every hour in Asia as opposed to twenty to thirty in the Americas.  Great for me, right?

Wrong.  Unfortunately, I live in a very modern (read: polluted) city, so I probably will not get to see even a single meteor.  That sucks because I have never seen a meteor shower in my life.  Almost makes me want to contact some cross country moving companies and head off to some remote village somewhere.  Almost.  I can’t live without the Mickey D’s baby!

Man, I have got to start playing basketball again.  I was shooting baskets with my brother earlier this week and I could not hit anything!  Seriously!  I mean, can a few weeks really do that much to your game?  My jumper was so sweet just a few weeks ago!

Okay, relax, calm down.  It’s not the end of the world, and it’s not big deal.  If the plastic knobs are broken, we fix them.  If my jump shot is broken, we do the same thing.  I can do this.  Just need to put in the work and get a couple hundred of shots up.  Maybe a hundred a night?  Now if only it would stop raining so I can start practicing shooting.  Ah well.  I guess if I can’t rain jumpers, the sky will just rain.. rain.

I apparently missed out on Cebu Pacific’s promo fare of PhP1 for both domestic and international flights.  Can you believe that?  Include tax and travel insurance online and a round trip to Singapore or Boracay would set me back just around PhP10,000.  That’s a steal!  Of course, Cebu Pacific is not really the most reputable airline, but I’ve flown on the carrier a lot of times, and I’m still here!

Got to make sure that I catch the next promo fare.  That sort of stuff is too good to be passed up, seriously.  You cannot afford NOT to fly.

I have been trying to get my money right lately, and it is proving to be a lot more difficult than I expected.  Feasibility studies are daunting, but you’ve still got to do them.  Capital is hard to come by, but you’ve got to spend money to make money, as my mom has always said.  There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

Anyway, there’s a lot of stuff to do.  Compare life insurance, stock options and bonds, there’s a lot.  The biggest thing here is to know just what you’re doing.  Been talking to a few of my friends about starting another business, and that’s basically all we’re doing.  Talking.  Gotta get moving.

One of these days, I have to take apart my room and just clean it.  Throw out some old clothes that I do not use anymore.  Maybe run a couple of steam cleaners over the whole room, whatever works right?  I’ve just got to get some semblance of organization into it.  There’s way too much mess for comfort.  It’s so disorganized it hurts my head!

The biggest problem is that I’m probably way too attached to my things for my own good.  This weekend, I’ll get a few boxes and ship some of my old stuff to the old warehouse.  Got to be strong!  Maybe for once, I’ll have a clean room.   Here’s hoping!

I went to the gym today, but all the working out I did was to lift a cheeseburger to my mouth and chew.  I was already in my workout clothes but for some reason, I just did not have it in me to work out today.  I guess it is not a big deal though.  I had already decided that I would start working out again sometime during the middle of the month.  It’s just the first week.  I’ve still got time.I should probably start with the diet, though.  Man, there are times when I just want to pop an appetite suppressant.  Just to make things easier, you know?  Ah well.  I’ve got a week to be fat.  Next week, it’s Arnold time!

Terrible way to start the day.  LBM.  For the uninitiated, it’s loose bowel movement.  For the squeamish, sorry.  Now I know that loose bowel movement can actually be a good thing, if you make sure to keep yourself hydrated.  It’s an instant colon cleanse and God knows I could use some of that given all the stuff I’ve been eating.  Hamburgers, steaks, pork chops, all this oily food I know I should not be touching.

Hey, what can I say?  Animals taste good!  And I suddenly have a craving for a steak.

Have you guys seen the new Noynoy ad campaign commercial?  It’s the most star-studded political campaign I have ever seen.  They have talents from the two leading networks, and the kicker is, I think these people did all this for free!  All it probably took was one phone call from Kris Aquino.  James Yap is there, so are Marian Rivera, Sharon Cuneta, Ogie Alcasid to name a few.  I’m surprised they didn’t roll out Mikee Cojuangco complete in equestrian apparel.Whatever the case, it looks a little bit too much like a station ID advertisement.  But hey, big names draw the voters.  Pinoy Big Brother probably gets more votes than our national elections.

Things are pretty crazy lately, and I have been trying to deal with everything but the Toto sink.  I seriously need a break, but it’s a bit too late to start easing up now.  It’s one of those things where I have got to get off my lazy behind and actually work and make some things happen.  You only reap what you sow and whatnot, right?

In any case, it is time for a change.  Not an Obama change where red tape makes everything damn near impossible, but a fast, decisive change.  Time is running out.  I have to start moving now.

Wish me luck, fellas.  I’m going to need it.  Whew.
