My room is a glorified mess. For some reason, no matter how many times I try to get things in order, things just never stay in their place. For example, my desk chairs are covered and loaded with laundry. My book racks have caps and DVDs on them. My table is a mess of wires and chargers. Man, I don’t think there’s any hope left for this room. I’m not even sure installing a rackmount all over my room would help. I would just find some way to make a mess out of that, too.
You know what I need? I need a maid picking up after me, all the time. Like, all day, that’s all she does. Picking up after me, cleaning up my mess. That would be awesome.

Been keeping myself up lately late at night watching specials on National Geographic. I used to be a huge National Geographic fan when I was younger. I especially enjoyed the specials on animals, most specifically on dinosaurs. I’m a dinosaur lover. I’ve got tons of books on the topic, and I can pretty much name most dinosaurs by how they look.
I also enjoy the Mega Structures series. I think it is really interesting. I mean, it’s one thing to be building steel buildings, and it’s another to be building the largest one in the world. I enjoy revolutionary stuff like that. So you could say I love the old (that would be the dinosaurs) and the new. Best of both worlds, eh? Gotta love cable.

Are not my two front teeth. I have got really awesome teeth. They’re strong, they’re clean, and I’ve never had a cavity in my life. They’re fine as is, thank you very much. I would like a few things, though. A new basketball would be nice. There are also tons of new laptops out there, that would be cool. Maybe a whole new wardrobe? Ok, hold off on the wardrobe until I get my fat self back to the gym.
I wonder what I’ll get though. I’m usually not so materialistic, but sometimes, I do get curious. The best gift of all, though? Money! Money you can just spend on whatever you want!

Dwight Howard is the future of the NBA centers. Seriously. The Magic had better keep him around for a long time, because if there was ever a franchise center, this guy is it. Well, okay, to be fair, we’ve had a few franchise centers. There was Shaq. And right now there’s Yao Ming. Eventually, maybe both Bynum and Greg Oden will get to their level, but right now? The guy to beat is Dwight Howard.
So all you Orlando Magic GMs had better do everything you can to keep Dwight in Orlando. We don’t want him going through the Orlando Job Search process ever. Keep the guy happy, keep the guy paid. He’s your ticket to the future. Guaranteed Hall of Fame entry, no doubt.

I used to be a real hot headed guy but a few years earlier, I decided that it was time to cool off a little. As a result, most people know me as a chill and laid back kind of person. And they would be right. I have developed a lot of patience over the years and usually I can keep my cool. It takes a lot to get me angry. If THAT happens though, then you better watch your step.
I kid you not, I will show you the importance of knowing the definition of term life insurance. Been pretty strong all my life, and pretty uncontrollable when I get angry, so just giving all you guys fair warning.

I am a home boy. I like staying at home. I’m practically fused to my bed. It’s just how I am. I’m up for work and a little fun, but most times, I’m pretty happy stuck to my bed, using my own bathroom, eating in my own kitchen. And no, we don’t have a four poster bed, or ceramic tiles, or a pimping kitchen, but it’s all mine. I like it like this.
Lately though, I’ve been wanting to be out more often. Just see other things and just drive around, see the city. Anyway, got to take care of business first. Work before play. Then when I’ve got my money right, that’s when I’ll rock this town!

Remember how that last typhoon really devastated our country? People’s homes got flooded, they got sick because of the water, people were stranded. We had more rain than hurricane Katrina which completely destroyed New Orleans. It was so bad. I remember seeing stainless steel drums floating on TV, along with pots and pans and everything but the kitchen sink (probably because the kitchen sink sunk).
And despite all that, the government is reducing our weather forecasting budget by almost two thirds? What kind of country are we living in? Seriously! We have got to get our priorities straight or stuff like this is going to keep on happening.

I seriously love my new shoes. Now I’m not going to tell you what brand they are, but they are awesome. They’re comfortable, give ample support, and I think they ought to be pretty durable, being running shoes. The only problem is I can’t play basketball in them. I have this fear that I’d sprain my ankle in an instant if I even tried. But hey, it beats playing in Dansko sandals.
Speaking of basketball, I haven’t really played in a while. Not even just shooting baskets at home which I always do. I also have not been working out at all. This explains why my pants are all tighter. I’ve got to get back to the game. Seriously.

I’ve been trying to make sense of the mess and clutter that is my office for a while now. In fact, once every few months I try to do a little reorganization, but it never turns out well. There’s just too much stuff (or junk) that I can’t throw away. Also, it doesn’t help that I’m in a business that is naturally dirty and grimy. No pristine walls and halls for me. My office furniture is old and faded, and there is an abundance of cheap plastic chairs.Been thinking that maybe it’s time to just throw everything out and start anew, but then I figure if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.

I really need to be getting my hands on some money. I mean, there are wants and needs that have to be fulfilled and satisfied. Can’t just sit around doing nothing, and I’m definitely not going to be working in call centers. So I have got to be creative. Other than the day job, I’ve got to have aces up my sleeve. There’s something that I have always wanted to do but never really pushed through with.
I think this is the year I finally do. I’m not even going to wait for 2010. I’m going to get started before the year is over.. that gives me a month. Let’s see how it goes.
