I don’t celebrate Halloween but I figured I would give a few costume suggestions for all you kids out there who do.
For the ladies, the Chick Code explicitly states that you are entitled to slut it up! So go for slutty nurses, slutty doctors, slutty firewomen, whatever! For the men, I vote for any Tom Cruise movie, or Batman.
Anyway, I have got to stay off the candy since I’m doing pretty well in my mission to lose weight and I want no part of a relapse. No, I haven’t enlisted the help of the best fat burner out there; I just haven’t been pigging out as much. Haven’t been working out much at all, either, but that should change by tomorrow.

When I was younger, I never EVER went to the dermatologist. I left that kind of stuff for my mom and little sister. It just wasn’t the GUY thing to do. I still don’t think it is.Apparently though, it is. My little brother has been bugging my mom to take him to the derma to get some cleaning done. I mean, I would understand if he had some sort of skin disease, but to have his skin cleaned? But it seems that everybody is doing it! His classmates are all regular visitors to the dermatologist, and while some go for acne treatments or skin asthma, a majority just go to get their pimples popped.Anyway, this isn’t really my problem. I was lucky enough to have pretty good skin. I get the occasional people here and there, but nothing remotely close to making me consider going to the derma.

I think I miss traveling. A good friend of mine has been bugging me to go backpacking with him in Cambodia, and I am sorely tempted to take on the invitation. It’s just too bad work is in the way. I mean, that is certified Indiana Jones territory right there (or Tomb Raider territory, depending on when you were born). Trekking in the forest, searching for loose diamonds and whatnot, fighting off pirates and smugglers and all sorts of bad elements.Speaking of which, Angkor Wat is closing its doors this year, I think. I really want to go check it out before it does, but I don’t think I can get away from work. I mean, trips like that cost money. Hell, everything in life costs money! Work before play. Or exploring. Whatever works.

Personally, I’d love to be all Kanye West about my traveling habits but I can’t really afford to shell out the dough for LV bags and whatnot. That being said, all my stuff is in Samsonite luggage. It’s not garbage bags, but it’s not Louis Vuitton either. Customs isn’t going to be popping my bag thinking they can make money off of me.I’m not much for brand names anyway. I just don’t think they’re worth the money. I mean, I’ve heard that LV is extremely durable, so I guess that’s something, but hell, a Jansport would do just fine.Anyway, what I really want are those limited edition Kanye West LV shoes. Now those are awesome. I think it’s because I’m so vain that I believe I can pull those off. Yes, I do believe I am awesome. You guys have seriously got to check those shoes out.

Barrack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize some time back, and I have to wonder, just how does he deserve it? I mean, the United States did rally behind him, and he’s their beacon of hope and everything, but that’s not deserving of a peace prize! A unity prize, maybe, or a leadership prize even, but not a Nobel Peace Prize!
It’s just a little weird how everyone is kissing Obama’s ass right now, just because he’s the hot ticket. What, does the Nobel academy have to sell tickets to their awarding ceremony now? Honestly, it’s absurd and it’s an insult to all the other people who have won.
Don’t get me wrong O to the Bama’s my man, but if you don’t deserve it, you don’t deserve it.

You will all be very happy to know that I am leaning out like it is nobody’s business. I’ve been dieting and running and balling and lifting weights and all that work is paying off! And I didn’t have to use weight loss pills either!
At the same time, I’ve been able to gain muscle mass and I’m looking pretty good, if I do say so myself. Hopefully, I can keep this up. I gym around one to two times a week, and play basketball around the same amount. The diet is really the anchor to this weight loss effort, and it’s paying off. I never thought I could eat a steak for a midnight snack and still lose weight over the week. It’s what you do consistenly that matters!
Anyway, it’s time for my balanced, all part of the dieting plan lunch now. I’ll let you guys know how I’m doing in a week or so. Hopefully, more good news is coming.

My mom has been talking about redecorating the house for some time now, or maybe even demolishing it and building up a new one altogether. Now I love this house. I grew up in it. I have got tons of memories in this place, both good and bad. But for some reason, I don’t feel any pangs of regret or hesitation about building a new one on this very spot. I mean, it’s the people that matter, not the house.
I’m actually pretty excited. I want a balcony, or a terrace. A better basketball court. A new sofa set for the living area. Maybe even new patio furniture. Whatever catches my fancy!
Of course, my parents will probably have all the say-so in the redecorating effort, and I will just be relegated to spectator status. I guess I don’t mind. I was born too much of a guy for interior design anyway.

I love my Mac. It has been with me for going on about four years now, and it is still as fast and responsive as the day I bought it. OK, granted, it slowed down a bit sometime during year three, but that was because I only had less than 300 megabytes worth of hard disk space left.
Apparently, I had too many movies and NBA games downloaded, and as a result, my hard disk was suffering from overloading. I figured I would either have to find a reliable online backup service or burn everything as data into DVDs. I went for the latter, since my internet is fickle like you would not believe.
Now, things are great again. We’re almost at year four and things are running as smooth as ever. Of course, the fact that I have an extra seven gigs of space freed up may have helped. Bottom line? Get yourself a Mac. And a lot of DVDs.

I love dogs. My dad recently brought home three local dogs (not the kind you eat. Well, alright, the kind you eat) as pets. They are all actually pretty good looking critters. Even the vet seems to think so. Since they’re native dogs though, they don’t need all the imported food and dog supplies the more expensive breeds do. They’re extremely low maintenance, and they seem to come toilet-trained.
One thing I hate about them though, is the fact I can’t shake the feeling the maids don’t wash their hands before they cook. I mean, I keep telling them and insisting that they do, and they always agree, but I get that nagging feeling that they are just giving me lip service. I’m telling you, it’s driving me nuts. I can’t get rid of the dogs too, since my family has fallen in love with them. Ah well. What’s a guy to do?

Brazil has won the bid to host the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro. This is a huge boon to Brazil’s booming economy, but more than that, it is also a symbol to the rest of the world that Brazil has arrived upon the global scene. More known for its prostitution and poverty than anything else, Brazil gets a chance to showcase its nation to the rest of the world this 2016 Olympics.
On top of winning the 2016 Olympics bid, Brazil also won the right to host the 2014 World Cup. It looks like it’s going to be a busy couple of years for Brazil, and we can only expect their economy to be on the rise because of it.
