There’s this iphone apartment app I’ve heard about recently and I decided to give it a shot. The application is called MyNewPlace and so far, it has been very promising. Basically, this application lets you take your apartment search with you anywhere you might go. The application makes full use of the iPhone’s GPS location tracking capabilities, letting you search for nearby apartments. Alternately, you can use also search via city or state or even zip code.
One thing I really liked about it though is the fact that you can actually call (or email, whichever you prefer) these apartments directly using the application. I am a sucker for the little conveniences and that is definitely a convenience that scores points with me.
MyNewPlace also has all these other features that are pretty cool. For example, you can take down notes regarding an apartment rental directly onto the application. No need to take out a pen and paper, it’s already right there in your hands! Also, you Facebook fanatics will be glad to know that you can send and share rental listings with your friends via Facebook.
I do not enjoy apartment hunting, but I really appreciate how thorough and easy to use the application is. It’s not everyday you find something this useful available for free.

There are a lot of options to choose from when deciding what type of home to purchase. You could get yourself a beach house and enjoy the ocean view. Or you could invest in a condominium and rent it out when you are done with it and want to transfer somewhere else. Or you could get yourself a manufactured home. There are so many options. It’s a buyer’s market, after all.
Personally, I want a real house. A real house with a backyard and a front lawn, and two floors. That’s what I want. Of course, I’m a long way off from actually buying one, but hey, it doesn’t hurt to know what you’re working for. In fact, I think it’s pretty inspiring.
Oh, and my house will have a basketball court. That’s not negotiable.

I guess we’ve all heard by now that Vince Carter has been signed by the Orlando Magic. Personally, I think it was a great move, but then again I’m very offense oriented as a basketball player, or even just as a basketball fan. Vince Carter gives the Orlando Magic another option at forward; an option who can both pass and shoot very well. That’s important. It will also keep defenses from collapsing on Dwight Howard in the middle.
I guess on the flip side, Carter has never been much for defense, and Orlando banks on its defense. But hey, I’m sure Vince would do all he can now that he’s got a legit chance at a championship. Besides, he lives near the area! He won’t have to take those long flights from New Jersey anymore for Orlando vacations, he’s just got to drive for an hour or so!

No that was not a typo error up there in the title. Fastin is a diet pill out there on the market I’ve recently heard about. I don’t really know how different it would be from all the other diet pills out there, though. See, the problem is they all claim to be the best. If Hydroxycut Hardcore was the best, then how can Lipo-6 claim that title? It just doesn’t make sense.
Speaking of Hydroxycut Hardcore, are you guys aware they took the fat-burning product off the market? It was supposed to have some really terrible side effects on the liver or something. Man. I’m sure glad I didn’t take that fat-burner.
Although I guess we should give Fastin a chance. I mean, I don’t need it, but hey, if you’re obese and seriously a health risk because of it, any port in a storm, right? It looks promising, but we won’t really know until we see results.

Someday, when I have enough money and I have enough reasons (meaning I have enough money), I will move out. I have been looking at a lot of condos coming up lately, and I figure I’ll be able to start investing in one within the next few years. Then hopefully everything works out, I get to stay in it for a while before I move out of THAT place to a real house. I mean, you can’t live in a condo forever.
I don’t need any of the long distance moving services though. I plan to stay within the metro. This is where the business is, so this is where I’ll be. Got to follow the money, because the money sure as heck is not going to follow you. I know it is still a long way from now, but hey, you’ve got to start planning sometime.

Tonight I ran into a friend who had not seen me in around half a year. The first thing he said to me was that I was getting bigger. Like, fat bigger. And hey, My chest has never been this muscular, and neither has my back, but he didn’t see all that. All he saw was the fat covering my muscles. That simply won’t do.
I have been trying to lose weight for a while now, but it just seems like the willpower isn’t there like it used to be. I used to be able to survive for weeks on chicken breasts, but now I can’t last two days on the stuff. In fact, I’ve stopped eating it altogether. Maybe I could use some help. Ephedra diet pills, maybe? I don’t know. The stuff kind of scares me. Maybe when I’m obese, I’ll consider it. Right now though, it’s still gym and balling!

Shawn Kemp, former Seattle Supersonics Superstar, should sue whomever got him that fat. I mean, can anybody say with a straight face that Shawn Kemp’s fatness does not affect his quality of living? That his weight problem has not cost him millions of dollars playing in the NBA, and millions of dollars more in endorsements. Shawn Kemp is a victim, my friends. This Seattle resident should go out right now, find some Seattle personal injury attorneys, and get himself a boatload of money in damages.
Yeah, I guess I just really miss the glory days of the Rain Man in Seattle. That guy could really play. He was the Lebron James of the past, except just not as awesome. Hey, it COULD happen! They sued McDonald’s!

I may not look it, but I happen to hold a keen interest in interior design. Of course, I suck at it, but that does not mean I can not be interested! I’m just a really big fan of looking good and making things look good. It’s all in the details. The details really matter.
For example, the sort of fabric you use for ANYTHING will make a difference. I was looking through some cabric fabric stores online, and I could not for the life of me decide what was the better choice. There are just so many options out there. It really depends on what you’re going to use the fabric for. What color. What temperature the room will be. There is so much stuff to consider. Ah well, you can not really blame me. I was born with only one x chromosome. But hey, at least I KNOW that stuff matters.

Remember the Lebron James movie I was talking about? I finally remembered the title. More than a game. Man, I can’t wait to watch that. Spike Lee and Kobe Bryant’s Doing Work was a disappointing dud of a documentary (see what I did there?). I sure hope that Lebron’s is better. I mean, he dunks better. Let’s hope he documentaries better, too. Does that even make sense?
Anyway, I’m excited like you wouldn’t believe. We need some basketball movies, man! The last good one I saw was Coach Carter, and that just barely made it to the list! I was really counting on Spike Lee to end the drought, but look how that turned out. Where’s Jesus Shuttlesworth when you need him?

So Lebron James, in his upcoming book Shooting Stars, admits he smoked pot in high school. Why is this a big deal? I’m sure around at least 50% of high school students have tried marijuana at some point or the other. Just because Lebron’s some huge celebrity, doesn’t make HIS pot-smoking experience any more special than all the rest. Honestly. Yahoo! Sports writers have got to start getting better stuff to write about. This stuff is pathetic.
I AM excited about getting the book, though. Well, no, not really. There’s supposed to be a movie; I just can’t remember what it’s called. I’ll post about it some other time. That’s what I’m really excited about. It’s one thing to read about Lebron flying through the air and dunking on somebody, it’s a totally different thing to SEE him do it on video.
