Been having to deal with a lot lately, and I’m running on eight hours of sleep for the past three nights. It’s times like these when I just want to stay in bed, curl up in a fetal position and not come out until everything is alright again. But I can’t wait for that to happen. I have to be the one to make it happen. Because that’s how life is. It’s going to try screw you over. The least you can do is to give it a hard time. Don’t let it slam you all over the wood flooring. Take the fight to them. You know what I’m saying?
By the way, did everyone see that Lakers and Hornets game? Chris Paul is a beast, but Kobe’s, well.. Kobe. Nothing you can do about that. No way. It was over the moment it got to overtime.

Right now, I’m currently on Cell-Tech, which is a creatine post-workout supplement, and Optimum Nutrition’s whey protein, which is well, whey protein. I’m a regular drug addict now. Oh, excuse me, chemist. One thing I won’t use are weight loss supplements, though. That’s a little too much risk for me. Besides, dieting will probably be the best thing.
My diet is pretty basic. Just don’t eat too much carbohydrates. That’s it. It’s probably not going to get me ripped, but I should lose a few pounds. People have noticed that I’ve been a lot more out of shape lately. Ah well. Sometimes, food is the only friend we have. But I’m trading that friendship in for a six-pack.
Also, basketball rules. I swear, it’s the best thing in the world right now.

Who would’ve thought R&B star Chris Brown would beat up Rihanna?? Did he throw her around from Wall to Wall? Did she fight back with an Umbrella -ella, ella, ella? I didn’t see this coming at all. There’s a rumor on the internet that they fought because Rihanna gave Chris Brown an STD, which she contracted from JAY-Z, whom we all know is Beyonce’s man. Man, the Grammys are crazy.
Reports say that the couple started arguing at around 12:30am, Saturday, in Brown’s car.

I tried the Nokia E71 out yesterday, just to get a feel for it. First thing that caught my eye was how pretty it was. And how small it was. The keypads were pretty small, all right. I had a very hard time inputting text. Maybe it was psychological, but I could feel my fingers cramping up.
That’s a major issue to consider. I’m not a big fan of texting, but I want to be able to text fast if I need to. You don’t ever want to get stuck ill-prepared for anything. Here, the price tag is currently at PhP19k. When it goes down to 10k, 12-15k, I’ll think about it again. I can’t imagine paying full price for a phone I can’t even text with.
Other than that, it’s perfect. The display is perfect, the OS is beautiful, and it looks very, very good. You know what they say. What’s on the inside doesn’t matter, because no one can see it. OK, they don’t really say that. Also, who prints out wedding invitations here? Anyone?

Ok, so Kobe Bryant just scored 61 points against the New York Knicks recently. He surpassed Michael Jordan’s 55 as the most points an opponent has scored in Madison Square Garden, and Bernard King’s all time record 60. Impressive. VERY impressive.
On Wednesday though, Lebron James dropped 50 points in MSG, with a triple-double to boot. Now the question here is, who was better?

Because I want to give myself something. Anything. Peace would be nice, but since that’s not going to happen anytime soon, something material in the meantime. I want something that’s got some sort of value to it.. I was originally thinking of getting myself a watch.. a Cartier watch, to be exact, but then I figured it didn’t really have much value to add. I’m not going to make much money out of it, and a normal ordinary everyday watch will do.
The E71, I can use to blog with. I can use it to surf the net, fix my schedules, write down messages, notes, reminders, contacts. In short, it’ll help me make money. The watch looks really good, but it’s not really going to make my life easier or put any extra bucks in my pocket. With that said, I need the bucks in my pocket to buy the E71 first. I don’t know if it’s really a good investment at this point.. maybe when the price drops down to PhP10k. Or maybe not. I don’t have the money to spare, now that I think about it. So much for that idea.

I tried out a very small business venture before, making graphic tees. Unfortunately, it never panned out, mostly due to lack of resourcefulness on my part. I wasn’t able to source out better suppliers, and better printers. Oh, and I didn’t really like the design that much. This time though, I’m going for it seriously. You paying attention? You’re going to get front-row home theatre seating to my thought process.
First the design. I already have a design I want. I drew it up while at work earlier, and I just love it. I think it’s important to have a design you’re passionate about. And I’m very passionate about this one. Of course, I won’t post it online yet; I’ll do that as soon as the first shirts come out.
Second, you need the right shirt. We used really cheap, crappy shirts before, and so the cut and fit were less than desireable. Each shirt cost around PhP30. I’m going to use shirts that cost around PhP200 each this time.
Third, the printing. I was lucky to have met someone who’s coming out with her own clothing line soon, so I asked her to refer me to her printer. I have a pretty good feeling I’ll be able to get a better price, with better quality. Let’s see how this goes. I’ll keep you all updated.
Anyway, that’s it for now. I’ll blog about it again as soon as I have updates. Or when I’m not too lazy. Probably the latter.

This is a tough question to answer. On one hand, Kobe Bryant is the most skilled basketball player ever, but on the other hand, Lebron James is the most physically gifted basketball player to ever play the game. On the hard court, Kobe’s Lakers are the number one team in the league. Lebron James’ Cavaliers are a close second, but James is doing it with a much weaker supporting cast. I’m not sure Kobe can do what Lebron does with the Cavaliers, but I’m sure Lebron can be just as good as Kobe with the Lakers. Bryant is by far the better defender, but Lebron is much more athletic with the steals and the blocks. Swagger for swagger, I give it to Kobe, although Lebron isn’t that far behind. Compliments have been pouring out from everybody like water from Grohe faucets for Lebron since he was a freshman in highschool. Everybody wants to kiss the King’s ass.
But for the statistic that really matters, Kevin Garnett beats out both Lebron James and Kobe Bryant. Yes, KG leads the league in jersey sales worldwide. Funny thing, isn’t it? Whatever. The Celtics suck. See you in the Finals.
