I hate the Chicago Bulls. Back when I was still not as basketball-obsessed and I’d play NBA video games just for fun, I never picked the Bulls, even though they had the highest ratings. I was always the Supersonics, or the Pacers. I just really hated them. They have this “Greatest of All Time” title that I feel is undeserved.
That’s why I’m pulling for the Celtics, Lakers, and Cavs to do really well this season. These are the only three teams that have a shot at breaking 72 wins, the NBA record for most wins ever in the regular season, set of course by the Chicago Bulls. Things aren’t looking so well. Boston’s lost four games. The Lakers and the Cavs have lost 5 each. If they can even just TIE, I’d be happy. I just need the monkey off my back.
I’ve pretty much lost hope for the NBA. What with my two teams, the Mavericks and Lakers choking in three consecutive Finals appearances.. this season is pretty much my last hope. So COME ON GUYS. Show me something!

If I had Suunto watches, I would be checking them out right about now. The new year is just around 12 hours away, and it’s always a good time to stop, sit down, and reflect on all the things that have happened in the past year.
In my case, it was a crazy, stressful year. It was very emotional, very heart-wrenching, but it was full of love. I can honestly say I loved this past year. And you know what, that means I lived this year. Of course, there were a lot of things I could’ve done better, but isn’t that how it is for everybody? I think it’s a good start, though. Taking control of things. It’s pretty late, but we know that old saying. Better late than never.
Yes, I realize that this blog has been extremely poorly written for the past couple of months, but come on. A guy’s got to do what a guy’s got to do. I’ll make one public resolution for this blog, though. It will be easier to read when the new year rolls along. This isn’t my new year post yet, by the way. That comes in around 24 hours. Stay away from the firecrackers, and be safe. See you next year.

Having issues with my Macbook battery. When I take if off the charger, the whole thing just goes down on me (that’s what she said). The unit doesn’t recognize the battery, which is totally messed up because it is PLUGGED IN RIGHT THERE! I CAN SEE IT! But no, all my mac can do is put a little “x” mark where the battery should be on my status icon. Sigh.
I googled the problem to see if there was anything I could do, but apparently, you aren’t supposed to leave your battery uncharged for more than a couple of days, or it will drain of power and be unusable. That’s not right. I just got this battery 4 months ago. I am taking it back to the Apple dealer I got it from and see if I can get a replacement, because that’s F*CKED up. Seriously. I’m pissed. This is the last thing I need. MOTHERDUCKER.

So my brother is feeling a little under the weather, which really sucks because it’s the holidays, and he’s on vacation. Not to mention that the rest of us are also on vacation and we always do stuff together. What does that mean? That means we’re all staying home doing nothing, rearranging magnets on the fridge til he gets better. Talk about great timing. I’m just kidding.
I hope it’s nothing more than a small bug, and that he gets well soon. Sickness scares me. But let’s not talk about that now. I just realized, he won’t be able to taste the steaks I will be grilling up tomorrow! Maybe I’ll just postpone that for another day.. health first, right?
Oh well! Since I’m staying home today, I might as well just update my blogs and shoot some baskets at home to burn off all that stuff I’ve been eating. My body’s used to working out and swimming everyday now, so any sedentary days will be bad.

So what did everybody get this Christmas? My family got a lot of pretty cool stuff. I didn’t really ask for anything (at least not out loud), so that excludes me, me still. It was a good Christmas for them materially speaking.
My dad got a really cool long-sleeved shirt from Marks and Spencer, one that I wanted (but couldn’t afford) for myself. My mom got a new 10.1 mega pixel camera from Sony, one that I wanted (but couldn’t afford) for myself. My sister got a 120 gig I-Pod video, one that I wanted (but couldn’t afford) for myself. And my brother.. my brother got the NEW MACBOOK. AND MAN, I WANT THAT SUCKER.
..if I could afford it. But oh well! If they’re happy, that’s good enough for me.
Besides, they can’t beat the stuff I got. I got embroidered hankies. With love. How are you going to beat that? I wouldn’t trade the hankies for all those things they got, plus a pop up tv.

Just came back from Shangri-La, and I think it was pretty good for my body. Although you can’t really call hotel food healthy cooking, I picked the foods I ate. Like, sure I ate a lot of fried stuff, but I also stayed away from carbohydrates and sugars and pastries and all that other stuff that makes you bloat up. Also, I got to work out everyday for 3 days, AND swim for 3 days. Great calorie burners.
Of course, it was still pretty stressful.. but it was pretty okay. Working out keeps me going, as you all know. Anyway, it was a good couple of days for my body. Gotta love the jacuzzi. Gym = peace.
How’s everybody? Holidays treating you alright?

Merry Christmas!
I got some pretty good stuff this Christmas, but all sappiness aside, the best gift is the people around me. I’ve got some strained and strange relationships, but I know there’s still a lot of love somewhere. Anyway, I’m alive, I’m not starving, the people I care about aren’t sick or dying.. that’s all I could ask for.
This year, I’m not so materialistic. I DO have a really nice photo keychain, though! :) Thank you, all! Merry Christmas, and a prosperous new year! (But of course, I will still have a New Year’s post later on). That’s how I roll. Happy Holidays from the hottest blogger this side of the blogosphere, including the ladies.

I’ve had some lousy holidays, but this one takes the cake. Let’s just take the most important things to me and break them. That seems to be the theme for this holiday. Forget the Christmas wish list, all I seem to be getting is a lot of misery, and that seems to be the only thing I’m giving as well. Sigh.
I’ll take anything else. Give me a car accident. Give me a sleep number bed. Give me anything, just not this. The worst part about it is, I’ve got to live with this. I’ve got to live with this and not screw up because that’s how things started going down in the first place.. and I don’t want that happening again. Ever. I owe this to everybody I’ve let down so far. At least that. I owe them at least that.
Damn.
Well that’s more or less sixty words of drama that nobody will understand. But whatever, I don’t care. Not anymore.

So I’ve been really stressed lately. Usually, when that happens, I start to eat a LOT. This of course results in a lot of weight gain, and since I don’t work out when I’m down, it’s usually FAT gain. Not a good thing.
Strangely enough, instead of pigging out, I’ve been eating a lot less. Like, I don’t feel like eating at all. I always thought I was one of those people who ate when stressed.. and now it looks like I’m going the opposite direction. I’m losing weight like I’m snacking on diet pills like peanuts.
I don’t know what if it is better like this, but whatever. You might ask what I’m even doing blogging if I’m so stressed. Well, it’s Christmas, and life is hard, and a guy’s gotta make some money some way somehow. Especially since the US economy is predicted to crash within the next weight years, effectively screwing up the rest of the world. Just a little Christmas cheer for all of you.

My days are pretty stressful right now, but I figured I’d blog about some random things to pass the time. Or random thoughts. Whatever.
I’ve been losing a few pounds the past month. 6 pounds total so far.. pretty good, right? All that while lifting hard and lifting heavy. I’m harder than I’ve been in a long time. The biggest difference? The diet. I’m eating a lot, but at the right times, and the right foods. The way I’m growing, I should take a paternity test to see if I’m related to Arnold.
OK, so that wasn’t too random. Honestly, the gym is the only thing keeping me sane these days. Gotta keep lifting. By the way, is it true? Jason Richardson to Phoenix? Poor Nash. Bye bye run and gun. I bet he misses Don Nelson now, huh?
